FAQs

How is your jewellery made?

All of my designs start with an original drawing, which is then put onto a computer to be made ready for the laser cutter. Each design is laser cut in sustainable birch plywood which is then sanded, delicately hand painted, varnished and made into jewellery.

Do you do commissions

I’m sorry but I am not taking commissions. There just aren’t enough hours in the day unfortunately!

What kind of metal do you use?

The earring posts and backs are silver plated. The chains I use for my necklaces are an alloy that are nickel safe.

How should I look after my jewellery?

Following these tips will help to keep your jewellery looking lovely

  • Avoid contact with water. Remove before showering / bathing etc.
  • Remove before sleeping.
  • Avoid spraying perfume directly onto your jewellery.
  • Try to avoid using hairspray near your jewellery as this could make it sticky.
  • It is best not to leave your jewellery in direct sunlight. To keep it looking its best store in a box, pouch or in a drawer.
